Welcome to The Butcher’s Wife’s Pizzas, Pastas & Grills Café and take-out. We may be found in the center of Athlone, the home of our ancestors’ history and legacies. The Gangraker family initially arrived to dwell and trade in this modest Athlone neighborhood in the 1930s, which is when our illustrious history began.
Our primary menu items continue to include pizzas, pastas, and grills, including flame-grilled beef & lamb ribs, steaks, chicken wings, and beef and chicken burgers.

The food was lovely, my family and I ordered bits from all over the menu and it was really tasty. The customer service however is lacking, no smiles when we first stepped in and a very awkward waitress served us.
The butchers wife is a good feel restaurant. The food quality is amazing and the atmosphere in the restaurant is very cute. The customer service could be a bit better as there was no real interaction. But this as an overall experience I would go back again in a heart beat
